Part 1 of a Discussion/Dialogue/Lecture that focused on the role of digital aesthetics and primarily the role of Algorithms. Fundamentally, it inquired how algorithms are playing a critical role in shaping generative art and importantly our shift towards an interface economy. The discussion concentrated on an array of artists and theorists who are currently engaging with this question and teasing out new models for understanding our interface economy.
Ultimately do Algorithms pose the potential for subversions and new possibilities for alternative currencies?
